Join the Team

Boulder Waterkeeper is a volunteer organization that can always use the skills, talent and leadership of local community members.  Become one of our Watershed Advocates and part of our leadership team.  Immediate roles and opportunities include:

Forum Coordinator – Be the individual responsible for coordinating and managing our quarterly Watershed Forums. Help select and define the topic, recruit speakers, manage logistics and be a face of the organization to the public.

Communications Manager – Maintain the Boulder Waterkeeper contact database and manage and respond to eMails received. Participate in organizational messaging and help guide and execute the communications strategy to share our concerns, issues, actions and success.

Science Advisor – Advise and guide the organization on scientific issues and concerns that impact the watershed and guide the Boulder Waterkeeper strategy including chemistry, biology, geology and hydrology. Provide context, distill research and help develop a public point of view to drive action in areas including, but not limited to E. coli, PFAS, mining heavy metal contamination, water quantity and temperature and invasive species.
